Corolla Shopping

Corolla is all about retail recreation. Corolla shopping opportunities are abundant in and around the major shopping complexes—The Shoppes at the Currituck Club, TimBuck II, Monteray Plaza and Corolla Light Town Center—and in the old Corolla village area.

Almost all Corolla shops are locally owned and operated, so they each have an individual character and offer things you won’t see at home. You could easily spend a whole day shopping in Corolla when you need a little break from the beach. Just remember that on rainy days, everyone else will want to be shopping with you. Vacationers are notorious for getting in their cars on rainy days and heading straight to the Outer Banks shopping areas.

If you’ve got family members in tow, don’t worry, because most of Corolla’s shopping centers offer diversions other than shopping. TimBuck II Shopping Village has plenty of recreational opportunities, like water sports and go-carts, to keep the family entertained while you shop. At Monteray Shores Shopping Plaza, there’s a climbing wall and movie theater. Corolla Light Town Center features a skatepark that’s as much fun for curious onlookers as it is for skaters.
